IS OBLIGATORY:
Kindly save all circulars sent to you and maintain a file for them. We would like you to support us in making your child a happy and confident individual.
GET INVOLVED:
Parents are child’s first teacher and the role of teacher will continue throughout your child’s school years. For this reason, it is very important that you get involved in your child’s education.
FIRST:
Participate in school activities and attend all parent teacher meetings.
SECOND:
Know what is going on at school. Always read circulars that are sent home with your child. The more informed you are the easier to prepare your child for school every day.
AREAS IN WHICH PARENTS COOPERATION IS ESSENTIAL:
* Primary School
It is very important that your child comes to school rested every day. Establish an evening bedtime schedule for your child and stick to it.
Make sure your child begins the day with a healthy breakfast. A hungry child is always a poor learner.
Bringing mobile phones, iPods or electronic gadgets to school is strictly forbidden. In case of urgency, if students bring mobile phones; they must hand it over to the class teacher in the 1st period.
All sorts of jewelry items or wrist bands are not allowed in the school. Your child must bring snacks and water from home. Cold drinking water is available in school and it is hygienic.
If your child is unwell, please do not send him/her to school but inform the class teacher for his/her absence. Please note these medically necessary periods of absence after infectious disease (MEASLES - 18 DAYS, MUMPS- 21 DAYS, CHICKEN POX- 21 DAYS).
* ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
As soon as your child starts regular school, he/she must be here at 7:30 am at the latest. We are aware that traffic problems are increasing nevertheless; we do accept children to arrive well on time. Kindly observe the school timings both in the morning and at home time. The gates will be closed at 7:30 am, after that the late comers will have to bring permission slip from the office. Please drop your child at the door from where he/she should walk to the class.
* CHANGE OF ADDRESS
If you have a change of address or telephone number, kindly inform the office immediately in writing.
* ABSENTEES
If your child is absent even a single day, you must send a written application with your child’s name, class and section written boldly on it.
* UNIFORM
Children should come to school in clean, well ironed uniform. Neat short hair cut for boys and black shoes are mandatory.
